A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was organized by the Department of Biotechnology, Noida Institute of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida from 15th December 2020 to 19th December 2020. This FDP was financially sponsored by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
More than 100 faculty participants registered and attended this programme through online portal. The programme comprised of total 15 sessions including inaugural and valedictory session. 12 invited speakers from different universities delivered talk in this FDP programme.
The glimpse of the lectures delivered by the speakers is mentioned below:
The day one inaugural session was started by welcoming all the speakers, participants, and chief guest. Dr. V M Kapse (Director, NIET), Mr. Praveen Suneja (Director General), and the Chief Guest for the session Prof. Dinesh Kumar, (Honourable Vice Chancellor, J C Bose University of Science and Technology), delivered their welcome speech.
Day one sessions were graced by the lectures of Dr Pawan K Dhar (Dean, Biotechnology, JNU Delhi) and Dr. Vikas Rastogi (Prof, Delhi Technical University).
The lectures in three sessions of day 2 were conducted by Dr. P.M Pandey (Prof, IIT Delhi) Dr. B.S Balaji (Associate Professor, JNU Delhi) and Dr. N. Rajesh Mathivanan (Professor and Chairperson Department of Mechanical Engg. P. E. S. University, Bangalore).
The day four sessions talk were conducted by Dr. M. N. Shelar (Associate prof & HOD, Computer Science, KTHM, Nasik, Maharastra), Dr. B.S Balaji (Associate Professor, JNU Delhi) and Dr. Madhuri Kumari (Professor, Amity School of Engineering & Technology).
Dr. Shailey Anand (Assistant Professor, Delhi University), Dr. Renu Solanki (Assistant Professor, Department of zoology, Delhi University) and Dr. Anil Sharma (Professor, IIT Roorkee) delivered their talk on the day 4 of FDP.
The Fifth day of the FDP was started with the talk by Dr. Mohd Sameeruddin Khan, (Director, Duttha Institute, Hydrabad). He extended his talk for the second session on the day. The last session was conducted by Dr. M. N. Shelar (Associate PROF & HOD, Computer Science, KTHM, Nasik, Maharastra).
The feedback forms were collected from all the participants after each session.
The day five valedictory session was attended by Dr. V M Kapse (Director, NIET), Mr. Praveen Suneja (Director General), and the Chief Guest for the session Prof Manish Gaur, (Director, Centre for advance Studies, AKTU, Lucknow). The Faculty participants shared their feedback about the programme.
