The faculty development program on “IoT and Machine Learning” was organized by Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad from 25 th -30 th January 2021 , sponsored by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.There were three sessions each day in this five days online Faculty Development Program and was conducted on the Webex Platform. The Sessions were highly interactive and knowledgeable. The participants were taking interest in the work presented by the eminent
speakers.
Mr. Dhananjay V. Gadre, Associate Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, NSUT New Delhi was the keynote speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “Introduction to IoT-An Overview”.
Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor, College of Computing and Informatics, Saudi Electronic University was the keynote speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “Various IoT Platforms and Their Architecture”.
Mr. Mrityunjai Kumar, Founder at SINCGRID, New Delhi was the eminent speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “Exploring IOT-A-SYNC for IOT applications”. He firstly explained the IOT-A-SYNC for IOT applications development platform.
Dr. Anita Gehlot, Associate Professor in the department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Punjab explained about Smart Sensors and role of IoT in Innovation.
Dr. Devesh Kr. Srivastava, Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Manipal University Jaipur delivered his talk for the session on, “IoT with Cloud Computing for Future Internet”.
Dr. Rajesh Singh, Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Punjab was the eminent speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “IoT in making Smart Homes”.
Dr. Anita Gehlot, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Punjab again joined us for the session. The topic of the session was “Hands on using Smart Sensors”.
Dr. Rajesh Singh, Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Punjab was the eminent speaker of the session. In the session, he delivered his talk on Interfacing of Various Smart Sensors and Real time data monitoring.
Dr. Praveen Malik, Professor in Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Punjab joined the FDP as the eminent speaker of the session. The topic of the session was Vehicular Communication.
Dr. Deepak Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Avionics, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology was the speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “Basics of Machine Learning – Introduction (Supervised Vs. Unsupervised Learning)”.
Dr. Lalit Singh, Scientist in the Department of Atomic Energy, NPCIL BARC, Government of India was delivered the talk on “Industrial applications of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence” in the session.
Dr. Navaid Z. Rizvi, Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Gautam Buddha University was the eminent speaker of the session. The topic of the session was “The Fast Approaching Human-Artificial Domination”.
Dr. Ashutosh Kar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, IIITDM Chennai, delivered his talk on the topic “Optimization in Acoustic Signal Processing using Applied Machine Learning and Adaptive Filters”.
Dr. Deepak Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Avionics, Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology joined us as speaker of the session. He delivered his talk on “Machine learning and computer vision algorithms application in IoT”.
The FDP was concluded with the Valedictory Session and after that Quiz and Feedback Link
was shared will all the participants. Out of 102 registered participants 56 have successfully
completed the FDP and got the certificate.
